Just Janey's Way

Book 2 of the Children's books series surrounding the character Janey and her worries and fears related to school, socializing and expressing herself.
Each book focuses on a different topic young children may face problems with and this particular one is all about learning to share with others and communicating your insecurities.
I made a character sheet like the one of Mai, for each character, Mandy approved them and we were ready to start illustrating the manuscript.
This is the second book I have worked along side Mandy and as always it was an amazing and lovely opportunity to give life to Janey and explore her friends and the environment in which she learns and grows.

This time around we had a bigger set of characters and I wanted to design them first, before jumping into the sketches and storyboarding process.
